Win A Rage 2 "Dreamcast" That Plays The Game
It's a custom PC inside a Dreamcast.
With Avalanche Studios' Rage 2 just two weeks away, marketing is going all out to promote the upcoming first-person shooter. In the spirit of drumming up hype and leveraging nostalgia, Bethesda is giving people a chance to win a custom Sega Dreamcast, which is actually a PC.
The news comes via Rage 2's official Twitter account. Bethesda's giving away a custom PC smashed into a black Dreamcast emblazoned with a pink anarchy symbol from Rage 2. You must follow Rage 2 on Twitter and retweet the announcement to enter. The sweepstakes period starts today and ends on Friday, May 3 at 8:59 PM PT / 11:59 PM ET.
A winner will be selected on Monday, May 6. Once selected, the winner will be contacted through Twitter and will need to fill out information documents in order to ship the product. The custom Dreamcast will then arrive within eight weeks. No purchase is necessary to enter, nor will purchasing anything Bethesda and/or Rage 2 related increase winning chances. You do, however, have to be 18 or older to participate. Rage 2 is rated M, after all. The official rules and other information can be viewed here.
Pre-ordering Rage 2 will bless you with Tim Kitzrow, the NBA Jam announcer, who will provide play-by-play commentary through the entirety of Rage 2's campaign. Additionally, pre-ordering Rage 2's Standard Edition comes with a variety of goodies, like the exclusive "Cult of the Death God" mission, the Settle's pistol, Nicolas Raine's armor, and a monster truck. There's also a Deluxe and Collector's Edition that comes with even more goodies like progress boosts (Deluxe), Ruckus the Crusher talking head (Collector's), and more.
Rage 2 will launch on May 14 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
