Wii U-Exclusive Splatoon Gets More Free Levels and Gear Starting Today
Can't stop, won't stop.
Nintendo is continuing to support its exclusive shooter Splatoon, and the developer will release new content through at least next January 2017. The news comes by way of today's Nintendo Direct where we saw two new stages in action.
The first stage Muse D'd Alfonsino will release tomorrow and includes rotating objects to avoid. Mahi Mahi Resort is a separate stage set at a poolside resort. Halfway through the stage, a section that starts out underwater will rise up, revealing even more ground to cover with ink.
An update with over 40 new costumes and pieces of gear is due out today at 5PM PT.
