Where Is Xur Today? (September 22-26) Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide
Here's where you can find Xur this weekend and what the Agent of the Nine has for sale.
Things are back to normal in Destiny 2 now--following an infamous weekend of overpowered crafted weapons wreaking havoc--and if you're looking for powerful tools to add to your arsenal, wandering arms dealer Xur is back in town. As usual, you can expect several Exotics, legendary-class gear, and items from the intergalactic salesman before he exits his current location. Here's where you can find Xur this weekend and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in The Tower, inside the Hangar. For his weapon, Xur is offering Cerberus+1. Hunters can pick up the St0mp-EE5 leg armor; Titans can grab the Armamentarium armor; and Warlocks can buy the Phoenix Protocol armor.
Xur Location

Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.
Xur Exotic and Legendary Items
- Exotic Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
- Cerberus+1- 29 Legendary Shards
- St0mp-EE5- 23 Legendary Shards
- Armamentarium - 23 Legendary Shards
- Phoenix Protocol - 23 Legendary Shards
- Hawkmoon - 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Cipher

- Legendary weapons and armor - 50 Legendary Shards, 1,000 Glimmer
Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard Ops or win Crucible and Gambit matches so that you can earn an Exotic Cipher. These are normally used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower, but beginning this season, you'll be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. The cap on Exotic Ciphers has also increased, as you'll now be able to hold up to five of them at a time.
Exotic Armor
St0mp-EE5 (Exotic Hunter leg armor)

A favorite for Hunters in PvP activities, the "Stompies" increase sprint energy and slide distance while the dodge subclass ability is fully charged, and also improve several jumping abilities. The stats roll isn't too bad on this Exotic with a mostly balanced spread, but you'll need to adjust your build to make up for the low resilience and discipline stats.
- Mobility: 12
- Resilience: 2
- Recovery: 19
- Discipline: 2
- Intellect: 20
- Strength: 10
- Total: 65
Armamentarium (Exotic Titan armor)

In PvE, an extra grenade charge from this Titan Exotic probably doesn't make this Exotic a must-have. You can easily recharge your grenade ability with the right build, but in PvP, this feature can come in handy when you need some extra explosive ordinance. The stats on this chest armor favor resilience and discipline, which ties in nicely to the Exotic identity, but intellect, strength, and recovery are on the lower end.
- Mobility: 10
- Resilience: 20
- Recovery: 3
- Discipline: 14
- Intellect: 6
- Strength: 9
- Total: 62
Phoenix Protocol (Exotic Warlock armor)

It's going to be a while before The Final Shape arrives and introduces a viable alternative for Solar Warlocks, but for now, it's hard to beat Well of Radiance when you're looking to provide some key support to your team. Pheonix Protocol is a must-have if you're focused on this Super, as kills and assists inside of the weel can return up to half your Super energy. The stats on this Exotic amplifies that Super-focused identity, as it has excellent resilience and high intellect. Everything else ranges from average to low, but you can easily plug those gaps with some armor mods.
- Mobility: 4
- Resilience: 28
- Recovery: 3
- Discipline: 6
- Intellect: 18
- Strength: 8
- Total: 67
Exotic Weapons
Cerberus+1 (Exotic auto rifle)

The very definition of a pay-and-spray Exotic auto rifle, Cerberus+1 shoots a lot of bullets from its multiple barrels at anything in your general vicinity. It works decently if you can activate any kinetic perks with your armor builds to amplify its damage, and for new Destiny 2 players, it's a fascinating Exotic to play around with before better options are available.
- Four-Headed Dog
- Rifled Barrel
- Fluted Barrel
- Full Bore
- Spread Shot Package
Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)

This particular roll of Hawkmoon has popped up several times over the last couple of months and isn't an essential purchase unless you're looking to do some crafting. This week, you can grab the hand cannon with a Moving Target perk, which provides increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down the sights.
- Paracausal Shot
- Polygonal Rifling
- Alloy Magazine
- Moving Target
- Polymer Grip

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher's Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
