This time, you'll find Xur in the Tower. Head to the Hangar area to find him, where you'll be able to buy the DARCI sniper rifle, the Hunter leg armor ST0MP-EE5, the Titan gauntlets Synthoceps, and the Warlock leg armor Transversive Steps. Although DARCI may no longer be in its heyday, it's still an enjoyable sniper rifle to use and has some slick-looking ornaments, if you're able to get your hands on them. Hunters get the best deal of the week with ST0MP-EE5 having a stat roll of 65, although that's heavily geared toward Resilience, which may or may not be what you're looking for. Read on for a more detailed rundown on all of Xur's wars and where to find him.

Xur Location

Xur is located in the north end of the Tower's Hangar area, up the stairs.
Xur is located in the north end of the Tower's Hangar area, up the stairs.

This week, you can find Xur in the Tower Hangar. As soon as you land in the social space, turn left and follow the path until you reach the hangar. From there, turn left again and head toward the back, open area, and you'll find Xur in his usual spot up a flight of stairs.

Xur returns to the solar system every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. The thing is, where he'll land isn't known until he actually arrives. Xur can hang out at one of several locations, including in the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher's Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ. Xur's inventory also changes each week, so it's worth revisiting him on the weekends for new weapons and rolls on Exotic and Legendary armor.

You can visit him any time between his arrival Friday and the weekly reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET the following Tuesday when Xur departs the solar system.

Xur Exotic Items

Xur has the D.A.R.C.I. Exotic sniper rifle, ST0MP-EE5 for Hunters, Synthoceps gauntlets for Titans, and Transversive Steps leg armor for Warlocks this week. If you feel like taking a gamble, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that decrypts into an Exotic that you don't already own (from a select pool of items). You can only buy one per week, and the engram is specific to the character class who buys it, so make sure to inspect its possible contents before purchasing. Alongside all of this, he has various legendary armor (the Forged Machinist set) and weapons, including Hollow Words with Feeding Frenzy and Backup Plan perks, which can be a fun (if not god roll-tier) setup.

For those of you were are looking to earn an Exotic cipher, you can also grab the Xenology Quest from Xur, which will reward the exceptionally rare item after you complete Strikes or win matches in Gambit and the Crucible.

  • Exotic Engram -- 97 legendary shards
  • D.A.R.C.I. -- 29 legendary shards
  • Stomp-EE5 -- 23 legendary shards
  • Synthoceps -- 23 legendary shards
  • Transversive Steps -- 23 legendary shards
  • Xenology quest -- free
  • Legendary weapons and armor -- 50 legendary shards, 1,000 Glimmer

D.A.R.C.I. (Sniper Rifle)

D.A.R.C.I.
D.A.R.C.I.

A handy sniper rifle that provides plenty of useful information on enemies, the other advantage to this long-range weapon is its stability and enhanced precision damage when the Personal Assistant perk is active.

ST0MP-EE5 (Hunter)

Stomp-EE5
Stomp-EE5

For Hunters who prize agility and speed, ST0MP-EE5 are essential footwear. With the Hydraulic Boosters perks, you'll sprint faster, slide further, and your various jumps will have improved range. You also get a high roll, with stats totaling 65--albeit with a heavy focus on Resilience.

  • Mobility -- 8
  • Resilience -- 24
  • Recovery -- 2
  • Discipline -- 9
  • Intellect -- 15
  • Strength -- 7
  • Total -- 65

Synthoceps (Titan)

Synthoceps

A hard-hitting option for Titans, Synthoceps increases your melee damage when you're surrounded, while the range for a lunge attack is also enhanced. The stats total 63, with a focus on Mobility and very little Resilience.

  • Mobility -- 17
  • Resilience -- 3
  • Recovery -- 10
  • Discipline - 12
  • Intellect -- 9
  • Strength -- 12
  • Total -- 63

Transversive Steps (Warlock)

Transversive Steps
Transversive Steps

Warlocks are glass cannons, and Transversive Steps are perfect for those space wizards who prefer guerrilla warfare. With these equipped, you'll sprint quicker and your weapons will be reloaded after a set period of time. A great piece of gear for hit-and-run tactics. Warlocks unfortunately get the lowest stat roll of the week, with a total of 61.

  • Mobility -- 17
  • Resilience -- 12
  • Recovery -- 3
  • Discipline -- 16
  • Intellect -- 7
  • Strength -- 6
  • Total -- 61
