Update: Xur has bailed for the weekend once again. Here's what Xur is offering for the weekend of July 2 and where you can find him.

The weekend has arrived in Destiny 2, so it's time for Xur to return to the solar system with another crop of Exotic weapons and armor for players to add to their collections. The Iron Banner kicks off again on June 29, so this is another great time to grab new items that can help you get an edge. Warlocks especially will want to take advantage of Xur's version of a high-stat helmet that's great for fans of Nova Bomb.

Head to the EDZ, to the Winding Cove area, to find Xur this week. For his weapon, Xur is offering Cerberus+1. Hunters can pick up the Raiden Flux chest armor; for Titans, there's the Crest of Alpha Lupi chest armor; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Nezarec's Sin helmet.

Xur Location

Spawn into the EDZ's Winding Cove transmat zone, then hop on your sparrow and head north. You want to head to the far northern end of the area, where you'll hit a cliff wall. Look for a cave passage that will allow you to climb up to the top of the cliff that borders the northern edge of the area. At the top, you'll find a crashed Fallen skiff. Xur hangs out right beside it, surrounded by Fallen enemies.

Head to the north end of Winding Cove and climb the cliff (or find a passageway through the wall) to reach the crashed Fallen skiff. There, you'll find Xur.

Xur returns to the solar system every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. The thing is, where he'll land isn't known until he actually arrives. Xur can hang out at one of several locations, including in the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher's Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ. Xur's inventory also changes each week, so it's worth revisiting him on the weekends for new weapons and rolls on Exotic armor. You can visit him any time between his arrival Friday and the weekly reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET the following Tuesday when Xur departs the solar system.

Xur Exotic Items

This week, you can snag Cerberus+1, a fun auto rifle that's can dump a ton of ammo downrange very quickly. But that's not the standout this week--it's Nezarec's Sin, the Warlock armor offering in Xur's inventory. With a super-high stat roll, Warlocks should absolutely pick up this helmet for their Void builds. If you're not a fan of his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that will decrypt into an Exotic you don't already own. Just note that you can only buy one per week, and the engram is specific to the character class who buys it--so if you're trying to get a new Titan helmet, don't buy the engram with your Warlock. He also has the new Xenology Quest, which rewards an Exotic Cipher you can use to purchase Exotics from either Xur or the Tower's Monument to Lost Lights. The quest requires you to either complete Strikes or win matches in Gambit and the Crucible.

  • Exotic Engram -- 97 legendary shards
  • Cerberus+1 -- 29 legendary shards
  • Raiden Flux -- 23 legendary shards
  • Crest of Alpha Lupi -- 23 legendary shards
  • Nezarec's Sin -- 23 legendary shards
  • Xenology quest -- free

Each week, Xur offers one Exotic weapon and three pieces of Exotic armor: one for each character class. The inventory is random, as are the stat rolls you can expect on each of his armor offerings, so if you're looking to fill out your collection or if you're hoping for better versions of Exotics you already have, it's worth visiting him. Xur also brings an Exotic Engram, which is guaranteed to drop something you don't already have, if there are Exotics missing from your collection on that particular character--but that doesn't include Exotics you have to earn through activities, including the new Exotic armors added each season, which can only be claimed from Legendary or Master Lost Sectors.

Cerebrus+1 (Auto Rifle)

Cerberus+1 fires bullets from four different barrels at the same time, so if you want to absolutely riddle something with bullets, this can help.

Cerberus+1 is essentially a bunch of guns duct-taped together, which makes it great for absolutely annihilating things when you shoot at them. The assault rifle fires from all four barrels at once, making it a bit tough to aim for precision, but allowing you to cover a large area with a ton of bullets. Aiming down the sights constrains the spread a bit more, but this is more or less an assault rifle with the spread pattern of a shotgun, which can be great for mowing down tons of enemies at once.

Raiden Flux (Hunter)

Your Arc Staff Super rips through enemies even more effectively when you're wearing Raiden Flux.
Your Arc Staff Super rips through enemies even more effectively when you're wearing Raiden Flux.

Raiden Flux significantly boosts your Arc Staff Super, especially in PvE situations. With each attack you make with the Super, its duration is extended and its damage is boosted. That makes it excellent for ripping apart huge groups of enemies at once, especially in high-level activities. It's also useful in PvP, since killing opponents extends your Super so you can hunt down more Guardians.

Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan)

Make your barricades more protective with the Crest of Alpha Lupi. Your barricades heal teammates and your Supers generate additional Orbs of Power when you're using the Exotic.
Make your barricades more protective with the Crest of Alpha Lupi. Your barricades heal teammates and your Supers generate additional Orbs of Power when you're using the Exotic.

The Crest of Alpha Lupi is a great Exotic for Titans who want to support their teammates with their abilities. Your barricades become extremely useful in keeping you and your teammates alive when you're wearing the Exotic, creating a close-range healing pulse whenever you cast them. Apart from that, your Supers generate more Orbs of Power for your teammates while you're wearing the Exotic as well.

Nezarec's Sin (Warlock)

Nezarec's Sin is already very useful, thanks to the fact that your Void abilities are charged faster for every Void kill you earn. On top of that, this high-stat roll is absolutely worth buying.

Warlocks are the big winners with Xur this week. Nezarec's Sin is one of those useful mainstay Exotics in the Warlock arsenal--whenever you get Void kills while wearing the helmet, your Void abilities charge more quickly. That's already great in just about every situation, but this roll from Xur is very high when compared to what he usually offers. Most Xur Exotics have stats anywhere from 61 to 64, with lucky ones going as high as 65 or 66, so this Nezarec's Sin with 68 total stats is a rarity. Take advantage and add it to your collection.
