Here's where you can find Xur this weekend and what the Agent of the Nine has for sale.

Comments

Friday night's alright for fighting, and if you're looking to stock up on some new Exotic gear before you head out to battle strange cosmic forces, then Xur has your back. The Agent of the Nine is back for another weekend of trading, and if you've got the right currency, then he has the gear that you've possibly been looking for. Here's where Xur is this weekend and what he has for sale.

This week you can find Xur in the EDZ, in the Winding Cove area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Jade Rabbit. Hunters can pick up the Wormhusk Crown helmet; Titans can grab Heart of Inmost Light chest armor; and Warlocks can buy the Phoenix Protocol armor.

Xur Location

Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone, then hop on your sparrow and go north. Take the collapsed overpass on the left and look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face to reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed; you'll find Xur waiting there.

Exotic Armor

Wormhusk Crown (Hunter Exotic helmet)

Wormhusk Crown
Wormhusk Crown

With the Burning Souls perk, dodging gives a small health and shield bump. It's a fairly useful Exotic for when you want to win a PvP match under clutch conditions, and for the stats, this Exotic has great Discipline, recovery, and mobility numbers to help enhance its agility-centric design. Intellect, resilience, and strength are very low, so you'll need to mod the helmet to address these shortcomings.

  • Mobility: 12
  • Resilience: 8
  • Recovery: 13
  • Discipline: 20
  • Intellect: 6
  • Strength: 7
  • Total: 66

Heart of Inmost Light (Titan Exotic chest armor)

Heart of Inmost Light
Heart of Inmost Light

While it's not as powerful as it was prior to the launch of Lightfall, Heart of Inmost Light is still an essential Titan Exotic. The Overflowing Light perk allows you to buff two of your abilities--grenade, melee, or Barricade--when you use one of your other skills, giving you faster ability regen and more enhanced powers. Essentially, you can create a chain of effects where you use one ability to empower the other two and cycle between them, making this Exotic very powerful when you break into a groove.

For stats, this roll of Heart of Inmost Light has excellent recovery and discipline, but everything else is on the lower end. You can still easily masterwork this armor to address these lower stats or augment them with armor mods, to help buff one of the best Titan Exotics.

  • Mobility: 8
  • Resilience: 7
  • Recovery: 20
  • Discipline: 20
  • Intellect: 6
  • Strength: 7
  • Total: 68

Phoenix Protocol (Warlock Exotic chest armor)

Phoenix Protocol
Phoenix Protocol

Phoenix Protocol is focused purely on turning Warlocks into mobile medical centers. Kills and assists you make while standing in your Well of Radiance return Super energy, and at maximum, you can recover up to half your Super bar when it is strategically used. This roll of the Exotic has pretty good mobility, even if it isn't the most desirable Warlock stat, as well as great intellect, and resilience to help with a Super-centric build. Recovery, discipline, and strength have very low numbers that you'll need to pad out with mods.

  • Mobility: 18
  • Resilience: 16
  • Recovery: 3
  • Discipline: 9
  • Intellect: 18
  • Strength: 2
  • Total: 66

Exotic Weapons

Jade Rabbit (Exotic scout rifle)

The Jade Rabbit
The Jade Rabbit

Like several other Exotic weapons this season, Jade Rabbit recently received a great overhaul. This version of the weapon refunds three shots instead of one when you quickly land three critical hits, and chaining precision shots will grant bonus damage on your next body shot.

  • The Fate of All Fools
  • Polygonal Rifling
  • High-Caliber Rounds
  • Zen Moment

Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)

Hawkmoon
Hawkmoon

Surplus is on Hawkmoon's roll this week, which increases the hand cannon's stats for every charged ability that you have. These are moderate boosts at best that you'll gain in exchange for keeping your abilities at bay, and alongside the rest of this week's roll, you'll seldom see builds like this outside of PvP.

  • Paracausal Shot
  • Polygonal Rifling
  • Alloy Magazine
  • Surplus
  • Textured Grip

Dead Man's Tale (Exotic scout rifle)

Dead Man's Tale

For Dead Man's Tale this week, you can pick up the scout rifle with a Snapshot Sights perk. That gives you faster time to aim down the sights, and alongside the other traits in this roll, it's fairly average build for both PvE and PvP.

  • Cranial Spike
  • Fluted Barrel
  • Armor-Piercing Rounds
  • Snapshot Sights
  • Hand-Laid Stock

Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard strikes or win Crucible and Gambit matches so that you can earn an Exotic Cipher. These are normally used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower, but from this season, you'll be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. The cap on Exotic Ciphers has also increased, as you'll now be able to hold up to five of them at a time.

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher's Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
