Where Is Xur? Destiny 2 Exotics Location, Weapon, Armor (March 13-17)
Get set for the first Trials of Osiris with new Exotics from Xur.
The Trials of Osiris returns to Destiny 2 for the first time in years this weekend, along with the first visit from Exotics vendor Xur in the Season of the Worthy. With all the changes that Bungie has made to weapons and Exotics with the launch of the new season, it's definitely worth your time to drop by Xur and make sure you're outfitted for your first run through Trials. Here's where to find Xur and what he's offering.
Head to the Tower, on the Hangar side, to find Xur. This week, his weapon offering is Coldheart. Xur is selling the Lucky Pants leg armor (again) for Hunters; Titans can grab Ashen Wake gauntlets; and Warlocks get Chromatic Fire chest armor.
Xur Location
Load into the central transmat point in the Tower, then head to the Hangar area to find Xur. When you reach the Hangar section, turn left and head to the north end of the area. Take the stairs up to the catwalk to find Xur hanging out near the edge.
Xur Inventory (March 13-17)
- Coldheart (Exotic trace rifle)
- Lucky Pants (Exotic Hunters leg armor)
- Ashen Wake (Exotic Titan gauntlets)
- Chromatic Fire (Exotic Warlock chest armor)
Unfortunately for Hunters, Xur offers the same Exotic he brought last week: Lucky Pants. But if you're in the market for (another) Exotic trace rifle after last week's Prometheus Lens, Xur has you covered with Coldheart. The icy gun is great at a variety of ranges and does more damage the longer you can keep it on a target.
If Xur's wares aren't compelling, you can always roll the dice on a Fated Engram, which gives you a single Exotic from the limited pool of ones you haven't already earned, for the price of 97 Legendary shards. All Exotic Engrams are now Fated Engrams, but you'll have to level up your Season Pass or wait for a random drop to get some if you don't want to buy from Xur. Since the new season has just kicked off, this is a quick (but expensive) way to get the Season of the Worthy's new Exotic armors without having to wait for a random drop. Be sure to purchase it on the character who's missing the Exotic, and note that you can only get one per week, so choose wisely which of your characters makes the buy. If you're a PC or Xbox One player taking advantage of cross-save, you can now potentially get Wavesplitter from the Fated Engram as well, thanks to the fact that it's no longer exclusive to PS4.

Coldheart
Like Prometheus Lens last week, Coldheart is useful in both PvE and PvP, including the Crucible. The laser does great damage at a lot of ranges and is super accurate, and the longer you hold it on a target, the more damage it does. If you need something that's effective in just about any situation, Coldheart is a good option.
Lucky Pants (Hunter)
If you missed your chance at Lucky Pants last week, good news: Xur has the exact same Exotic for Hunters this week (with the exact same stats). Try to hide your disappointment--the leg armor can actually be pretty solid if you're a connoisseur of hand cannons. Landing precision hits loads a round into your stowed hand cannon, and your hand cannons ready more quickly and are more accurate when you swap to them. If you've got a good secondary weapon to go with your hand cannons, Lucky Pants can be pretty helpful.

Ashen Wake (Titan)
Ashen Wake improves your Titan fusion grenades. When you're wearing the gauntlets, grenades throw faster and explode on impact. If you land a kill with your grenades, you'll get grenade energy, so you can use them even faster.

Chromatic Fire (Warlock)
If you're a Warlock who likes making things explode, Chromatic Fire is for you. The chest armor gives your kinetic weapon an elemental flavor: whenever you score precision kills with your kinetic guns, you'll trigger an elemental explosion based on your subclass. All those explosions can be pretty effective in racking up kills in PvE situations.
