The hosts are back online. It looks like filming of Westworld Season 4 has begun or is very close to kicking off, if an Instagram post from star Jeffrey Wright has anything to say about it.

In a short and to-the-point post, the actor shared a photo of his trailer door on the show's set, which is marked with his character's name, Bernard. "Good morning...old friend," he wrote. You can see the post below.

Given that Season 3 of Westworld came to an end over a year ago, it's reassuring to see production on new episodes is happening, though it remains to be seen when they'll debut on HBO.

As for what to expect, who can possibly predict what's going to happen on Westworld? When last we left the show, it seemed as though the original version of Dolores had been killed, though the show's creative team was sure to note that doesn't mean fans have seen the last of Evan Rachel Wood on the show. Additionally, a post-credits scene showed a jump forward in time for Bernard, who came back online covered in dust after seemingly idling for quite a while.

Of course, jumping around the timeline is a trademark for Westworld, so that doesn't necessarily mean Season 4 will all take place even further into the future.

Whatever the case, while we always knew Westworld Season 4 was going to happen eventually, seeing some level of progress is exciting for those that have been eagerly awaiting the show's return.
