Welcome to GameSpot Universe

If you're an avid reader of GameSpot, then you've probably noticed a very small change we implemented today in the site's top navigation bar. There's a new section there (right next to News) and it's called Universe.

So what exactly is GameSpot Universe?

During the past year, GameSpot has widened its coverage to include news, features, and reviews of all the movies, TV shows, comic books, anime, and more that gamers love, whilst still retaining the site's core focus on delivering the best video games coverage around. As our VP of content Ben Howard stated when we first launched into entertainment last year: "Our objective here is to build a range of stories and videos that covers areas outside of gaming that are of interest to us, and we hope, to you too."

GameSpot Universe is now the key repository for all of our entertainment coverage, a place where we can collate our articles and videos on the latest happenings in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or discuss our spoiler-heavy thoughts on the latest Walking Dead episode, or theorize about what's coming up next in the Star Wars world, and much more. It's the place where all of your entertainment interests outside of gaming can converge, a place where your universe of interests can finally all come together.

So if you click on the Universe link in our site navigation, you'll be taken to everything we've created on a whole range of entertainment areas. As always, we’re keen to hear your feedback.
