Atari today launched the official Web site for its upcoming first-person shooter, TimeShift. The game is currently in development by New Jersey studio Saber Interactive and is scheduled to be released for the PC and Xbox 360 this spring.

In the game, players fill the shoes of Colonel Michael Swift, a government guinea pig who accepts the task of trying out a special suit. These duds, however, didn't just fall off the Sears coat rack. The multimillion dollar suit allows Swift to slow, stop, and reverse time. After running the suit through a few test runs, he returns to a time that is drastically different than how he left it.

The Web site features the usual fare, such as game info, screenshots, and trailers, as well as the promise of developer diaries and interactive videos to be coming soon.

TimeShift will retail for $49.99 on the PC, and $59.99 on the Xbox 360. An Xbox version of the game has also been announced. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
