Watch Zelda Director Play TriForce Heroes in a Link Outfit

The game arrives later this week.

To promote the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: TriForce Heroes for Nintendo 3DS, series director Eiji Aonuma dressed up as Link and played through a portion of the game. Check out the hour-long video below (via DualShockers)--it offers a good look at the co-op game, but note that it's in Japanese.

TriForce Heroes launches on October 23.

The game also recently made on appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Nintendo's Symphony of Goddesses touring music orchestra performed never-before-heard songs on the late night TV program, and there was even an awkward handshake.

Played the demo, its actually pretty fun. Of course there is some lag from time to time depending on people's connections, but I had a couple of lag free games. The icons are generally good enough to tell people what to do, but a couple of times text chat would have been nice. Would have liked to have been able to play single player as by the time I get the game, finding people online may not be the easiest proposition.

@Sepewrath: Yeah, the best way I dealt with the lag was jumping into games continuously until I got one that was smooth. Didn't take long. You can easily verify lag in the lobby.
