Xbox One boss Phil Spencer has completed the Ice Bucket Challenge, after Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson nominated him yesterday. Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb and senior Xbox evangelist Jeff Rubenstein are the ones to pour the bucket of icewater over Spencer on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington today.

Spencer nominated Valve boss Gabe Newell, PlayStation worldwide studios president Shuhei Yoshida, and Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime to take the challenge next. They have 24 hours to do so. Yesterday, Persson nominated Spencer, Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski, and Activision Blizzard CEO Robert Kotick for the Ice Bucket Challenge. So far, only Spencer has completed it.

The Ice Bucket Challenge is a campaign to raise awareness and donate money toward research to find a cure for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. In the video, Spencer says he is also making a donation, though he did not specify the amount.
