Naughty Dog has revealed the first gameplay footage of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End at Sony's PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas today.

The video, which you can see above, opened with protagonist Nathan Drake standing on a cliff overlooking a stormy sea. "Where the hell are you?" Drake asks before he heads into a cave. For the rest of the demo we get to see him climb and explore a jungle, apparently in search of pirate treasure. It's mostly the type of gameplay the series is known for, a mix of shooting and platforming. However, we do get see Drake use a new piece of equipment, a rope and grappling hook, which he uses to climb and swing over obstacles.

Another interesting new detail we learned about the game from the demo is that it will feature Drake's older brother, who appears at the end.

The demo was running on a PS4, and at one point we saw Drake fall through the level due to a bug, though the game quickly reloaded to a checkpoint and kept going.

Uncharted 4 is expected to launch next year running at 1080p/60fps, and it could be accompanied by Uncharted remasters for PS4.
