Three One Zero co-founder Adam Orth introduced the first trailer for Adr1ft at the The Game Awards 2014 tonight.

Three One Zero describes Adr1ft as a first-person experience (FPX) that tells the story of an astronaut in peril. You'll play as the only survivor of a destroyed space station with no memory and a damaged space suit. In short, it sounds a little like last year's Academy Award-winning movie Gravity.

The trailer, which you can watch above, shows the astronaut making her way out of a space station as her suit leaks oxygen.

Orth, who left Microsoft after his Xbox One "deal with it" comments drew significant controversy, also announced via his Twitter that the game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and VR platforms.

I love me some chromatic aberration.

No, no I don't, it's a god awful effect, just like lens flare and depth of field.

We're playing games from a character's eyes, not looking through a camera lens. All this distortion and blurring and blinding effects that aren't flashbangs or supernovas shouldn't be a part of games.

lol Gravity the game, just what we needed. That stupid movie got so much praise when it was all a bunch of BS. No class, crappy acting, no real basis on the actual science. It was a disgrace of a movie and now we are getting these pointless games. Great.

<< LINK REMOVED >> this game is probably meant to be played in vr and also its more than just floating around. you may have noticed there was a canister with an objective marker on it. my guess is you are stranded on a half destroyed space station (the name adrift seems to suggest that). and you have to try and survive till you get extracted. I'm sure there is more to this game than what meets the eye.

<< LINK REMOVED >> Sign of the times - no kid dreaming of being astronaut anymore. Everybody would rather be CEO or celebrity.
