Watch the Fire Emblem Nintendo Direct Livestream Here Today [UPDATE]
Find out what's next for the Fire Emblem series.
Update: The stream is now over. As expected, Nintendo detailed its new mobile game, Fire Emblem: Heroes, but also revealed a new game--a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden called Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia--is coming to 3DS this May. Additionally, an original Fire Emblem game is in development for release on Switch in 2018.
Original Story: Nintendo plans to host a livestream later today, January 18, that's focused on the Fire Emblem series. You can watch it here at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.
There has been virtually nothing shared about what we'll see today; Nintendo only says it deals with "upcoming Fire Emblem titles." We know of only two. The first is a free-to-play mobile game that was confirmed last year and is scheduled for release by the end of March. The other is a Switch game called Fire Emblem Warriors that is in development at Koei Tecmo, the developer of Hyrule Warriors.
