"Everything on earth fell apart."

Just in time for the holidays, Ubisoft has published a Christmas-themed live-action trailer for The Division.

In the video, directed by Xavier Gens (Hitman) and shot at the Fox Studios lot in LA, a young boy sings the famous Christmas carol, "Silent Night." It starts off with a peaceful, Christmastime backdrop. But soon, the scene and the lyrics take a dark turn. We won't spoil it for you, but it's a powerful trailer. Watch it below.

This is actually the second video for The Division to use "Silent Night"; the first aired back in June 2014.

The Division launches on March 8, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Everyone who preorders the game gets access to a beta that is scheduled to begin on all three platforms in early 2016.

The contents of the beta have not been disclosed. An alpha test for The Division was held on Xbox One last week, but participants were prohibited from sharing images, video, and descriptions of what they played.

It's been a long time coming for The Division, as the game was delayed multiple times before ultimately landing at its new March 2016 date.
