Watch Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime Dance to Sell You This Game
Nintendo today released the latest in a series of videos promoting Yo-Kai Watch that offer an inside look at meetings with the company's executives, and this one is undoubtedly the best.
Whereas the first two saw Nintendo of America executives like Reggie Fils-Aime or Bill Trinen bickering or shoving their faces full of donuts, this one sees Fils-Aime--NoA's president and chief operating officer--dancing to his heart's content during a meeting. You can watch it above.
Like the earlier videos, these antics are the alleged result of mischievous Yo-Kai. In the game series, the Pokemon-esque Yo-Kai creatures cause humans to do ridiculous or embarrassing things.
The series is a major hit in Japan, but it only just recently made its debut in the West with the release of Yo-Kai Watch for 3DS. That game has shipped more than 10 million copies worldwide since its debut in Japan in 2013 and has already seen multiple follow-ups. There are also manga and anime series based on the franchise.
Just a month removed from its debut here, it's unclear how successful (or not) Yo-Kai Watch has been in North America so far. Whatever the case, you can't say Fils-Aime isn't trying.
