Watch New Gods of Egypt Trailer, If Only For the Questionable CGI

"You're not fit to be king."

Ever since he made his name in Zack Snyder's hugely successful 300, Gerard Butler has continued to star in a variety of mediocre action movies and violent thrillers. Now the Scottish actor is set to return to the realms of epic fantasy, with the upcoming movie Gods of Egypt. A wild new trailer has been released, and it looks like a lavish, over-the-top affair, with plenty of dubious CGI. Check it out here:

Butler stars as the ancient Egyptian god Set, who enslaves his people after banishing rival deity Horus, played by Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. The film sees Horus team up with a mortal hero to overthrow the power-crazed Set.

Gods of Egypt also stars Brenton Thwaites, Elodie Young, and Chadwick Boseman. It is directed by The Crow's Alex Proyas, and hits cinemas on February 26, 2016.
