Games of Thrones season six hits screens next month, and following the recent teaser and posters, a new behind-the-scenes video has been released. The promo shows the work performed by the camera operators on the hit fantasy show, and will give fans a clue as to what to expect from the upcoming season. Check it out below:

For the first time, the new season of Game of Thrones will debut before the publication of the next book in George R.R. Martin's series of novels on which it is based. In a recent interview with IGN, Martin revealed that the new novel will feature a twist that can't be included in the show.

"I have decided to do it. It is something involves that a couple of characters, one of whom is dead on the show but not dead in the books," he said. "The show can’t do it, unfortunately, because they killed a character that I have not killed."

Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 24.
