Watch Mafia 3's New "Heist" Trailer

They knock over the Federal Reserve, but not everything goes to plan.

2K Games and developer Hangar 13 today released a new trailer for crime game Mafia III. The video is titled "The Heist" and it follows main character Lincoln Clay working with the Italian mob to rob the Federal Reserve. Unfortunately for Clay, it looks like the Italian mob double-crosses his squad.

This appears to be the event, or at least a contributing factor, that spurs Clay to get revenge. It's a slickly produced video and has us eager to learn more about the story and characters.

Mafia III launches on October 7 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In other news, 2K recently announced what's in the $150 Collector's Edition and revealed some of the game's great songs.
