CD Projekt Red and publisher Warner Bros. on Friday released the first TV video spot for upcoming role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The short video (it's meant for TV, after all), shows protagonist Geralt hunting down CD Projekt Red's version of the mythological bird/cat hybrid Griffin creature.

After multiple delays, The Witcher 3's release date is set for May 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
In recent news about the game, Microsoft on Wednesday apologized for not disclosing that a gameplay video posted to its Xbox YouTube channel contained footage from the PC version.
GameSpot recently visited CD Projekt Red's offices in Poland to play the game and interview its developers.
