Beauty and the Beast is not the first live-action take on a classic Disney movie, as the company released Maleficent and The Jungle Book in recent years. Disney is also developing live-action versions of Snow White, Mulan, The Lion King, and Aladdin, while a second Jungle Book is also on the way.
