Watch Doctor Strange World First Trailer Here

The first trailer for upcoming Marvel film Doctor Strange has been revealed on YouTube. Shared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel, the trailer shows glimpses of the film which explores the origin story of superhero Doctor Strange, also known as Stephen Strange. Doctor Strange is the next upcoming Marvel film scheduled to be released after Captain America: Civil War. The film's titular protagonist is portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch. Actress Tilda Swinton plays Ancient One, a powerful magician who mentors Strange.

The film is scheduled to be released in November this year. It follows the journey of Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon who experiences a horrific car accident and goes on to discover magic and train in the mystic arts.

Producer Kevin Feige has described the film as the "doorway" into the supernatural side of Marvel's cinematic universe. The film is directed by Scott Derrickson, who directed The Day the Earth Stood Still and horror film The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
