Destiny 2 Warmind DLC Stream -- Watch The Reveal Livestream [Update]

What's next for the Guardians?

It seems like forever ago that Destiny 2's first expansion, The Curse of Osiris, launched. Of course, Bungie has still been very active in releasing major updates to the game--but it's been over four months since any substantial new content was added to the game. That's going to change soon, though, with the Warmind expansion, which the developer will officially unveil tomorrow, April 24. [Update: The stream is now over, and we have the first details on Warmind.]

At the moment, we know basically nothing about Warmind, beyond a few boilerplate statements. It'll "send you to new places to meet new heroes and battle new enemies," the website says, which is doesn't reveal much about it. We also know that it'll have a new destination and a cooperative end-game activity. On April 24 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM UTC, several developers will go on stream to talk about exactly what you can expect from the DLC; you can watch it in the embed below when it goes live.

It also appears that Bungie is treating this as a particularly significant reveal. According to community manager David "DeeJ" Dague, it'll feature "more developers in the hot seats than we have ever hosted on a previous stream."

In other Destiny 2 news, Warmind's release on May 8 coincides with the beginning of Season 3. The new season will bring Crucible rankings, private matches, an increase to vault space, support for multiple equipped emotes, Exotic weapon Masterworks, and other tweaks.
