WWE has a new NXT Champion, and that man is Bron Breakker. Having "graduated" from the WWE Performance Center, Breakker was introduced to television audiences just a few months ago on the introduction of NXT 2.0. Upon arrival, Breakker--real name Bronson Rechsteiner--already had some tension with then NXT Champion, Tomasso Ciampa and declared himself NXT's next big thing.

On Tuesday's episode of NXT 2.0, Breakker solidified he was everything he said he was by making Ciampa submit to become the new NXT Champion. On his way to the ring, he broke a giant golden X, symbolically ending the black-and-gold brand and transitioning into the 2.0 era. After his win though, Breakker shared the ring with his Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame father, Rick Steiner--half of the legendary tag team, the Steiner Brothers.

WWE posted the celebration of father and son on their YouTube as part of a digital exclusive. Rick had won some singles championships in WCW, but never went to WWE as a singles star like his brother Scott, who is also a former WCW World Champion and Triple Crown champion as well. Interestingly enough, Scott Steiner never held any championships while in WWE from 2002 to 2004.

Breakker's entrance has caused quite a stir with some fans saying that it's disrespecting the old brand that Triple H built, which ushered in a new generation. Regardless, his win, along with Carmello Hayes unifying the Cruiserweight and North American championships, guarantees that 2.0 is here to stay.
