Watch a Lot of Ghost Recon: Wildlands Single-Player Footage

This new extended gameplay video shines a light on the campaign.

Curious about Ubisoft's open-world Ghost Recon game, Wildlands? The publisher today put out an extended trailer for the 2017 game that provides a good look at the campaign.

Game designer Dominic Butler narrates the 20-minute video, which spotlights some missions, the first of which involves storming a church and stealing a bible. The video specifically focuses on solo play, though the game also supports multiplayer. When playing alone, you will always have three AI-controlled teammates that you can give directions to. Also on display in the video is Wildlands' day/night cycle and weather system, among many other game elements.

Wildlands launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 7, 2017. You don't have to wait that long to try the game, however, as a beta will be held before launch--here's how to sign up.

In other news, Ubisoft has announced a live-action short film set in the game's universe. Called War Within the Cartel, the movie was produced by Roberto Orci, who wrote the screenplays for Star Trek and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The movie stars rapper and actor TI.
