Call of Duty: Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward has released an update for the Warzone mode that makes it easier for players to get into matches. Specifically, the developer has lowered the player count requirement to start a match.

Infinity Ward also mentioned that staying in the lobbies until they fill up will also help you find matches faster. You can see Infinity Ward's full statement below.

Warzone is a free-to-play, standalone battle royale game set in the Modern Warfare universe. People who already bought Modern Warfare will see Warzone added to the main menu once their install completes.

There is a lot to know about Warzone's release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, so be sure to check out GameSpot's roundup of all you need to know. One of the more unique elements of Warzone is that, in a battle royale match, players who die enter a gulag where they can 1v1 other players for a chance to return to the battlefield.

GameSpot's Jordan Remee really likes this new feature, and you can read more of his thoughts about the gulag here.
