Warner Bros. teases "special" Batman Arkham announcement for next week
Developer says it will make an announcement about the franchise on December 31.
The future of the Batman Arkham franchise may come into focus next week. The official Batman Arkham Facebook page teased this week that a "special announcement" will be made on December 31--New Year's Eve.
"Visit this page on December 31st for a special announcement…more details to come next week!," the company said.
It's possible this message is teasing the story-focused DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins slated to arrive in 2014. It could also be in reference to the Rocksteady Studios' rumored next-gen Arkham game, though this appears less likely.
