Warframe Now On Epic Games Store With Limited-Time Unreal Bundle

Warframe is now available on the Epic Games Store, and if you grab it fast you can get some special Unreal-themed loot as well.

Warframe is now available on the Epic Games Store, and to mark the occasion, Digital Extremes has teamed up with Epic Games to offer a bundle themed after the classic Unreal Tournament. The free bundle will be available for two weeks through the Epic Games Store.

The Unreal Tournament Weapon Bundle includes skins for the Flak Cannon, Rocket Launcher, and Shock Rifle, along with Drakgoon, Ogris, and Stahlta weapons with slots. It also includes an Essential Critical Chance Bundle and Affinity Booster for good measure.

Now Playing: Warframe Review (2019)

The collaboration is in honor of the original Unreal Tournament, which Digital Extremes and Epic Games worked together on more than 20 years ago.

As on other platforms, Warframe is free-to-play on the Epic Store. The UT bundle is available through Thursday, December 24. If you grab it by December 14, though, you'll also get Double Credit bonuses. In the announcement, Digital Extremes says it aims to make the bundle available on all platforms in the future.

"When we started working with Epic Games on Solar Winds and Epic Pinball, we had no clue they would lead to the collaborative decade of work that would blossom into the Epic's Unreal franchise. With Unreal, we all helped create a great gaming experience together," said Digital Extremes founder James Schmalz. "Fast forward nearly two decades to our current success, Warframe, and it's humbling to see a couple of those early weapons we created introduced into our universe. To see some of that collaboration happening again today is incredibly exciting."
