Warframe Dev Set to Be Acquired by MMO Company Perfect World and a Chicken Meat Supplier

I can see it now... Lock boxes dropping everywhere in defense and survival missions... It doesn't take a genious to know that this is going to turn WF into another Chinese money grabbing scheme disguised as a game.

they buying this game out ... it makes so much Money a bigger Company is paying the devs out to overtake it ... like when Facebook overtakes something ... the DE devs are made mans now ... I congratz them, somehow they deserved it for making the best third person action gameplay ever created

to bad it wasnt the original dark sector, anounced for next gen consoles when x360 and ps3 didnt evn had a Name and where just knowen as the new consoles ...

We enjoy having to pay a crapload of money, just so we can truly enjoy Warframe, leave it alone!!!

Perfect World is an absolute terrible company, they are arguably just as bad as Nexon. Personally think they can go f*ck themselves.

Hopefully the lower the pricing, as right now its completely insane what they want for some Warframes. The game is fun, but not worth the time or money to get a warframe.

I can understand Perfect World being involved, but what the actual hell does a chicken supplier want with a game development company?

I can only envision an extremely wierd fast paced Sumpo action MMO game centered around chicken.

Perfect World, like EA, corrupts whatever it is they touch. I haven't played the game myself, but this would keep me away forever.

Perfect World make some of the jankiest, boring MMOs ever. I've tried quite a few over the years because I've always liked MMOs but didn't want to pay subscriptions.

Perfect World is one of the reasons I now PREFER to pay subscriptions on MMOs. You get what you pay for and for a massive open world that needs to have plenty of detail and character that is doubly or triply so.

Hm, the studio of PW... I don't know, everytime I think about a company buying a Dev group, I remember EA and Bioware. Plus, bigger companies are more aggressive towards profits and Digital Extremes has shown itself to be very generous about it. I don't know what to say, pros and cons are balanced.

PWE is normally pretty good about their monetization practices, at least with Star Trek Online and Blacklight: Retribution. But Sumpo? WTF is the only appropriate response.

Nexon would be the only company that would be worse... so yeah, not good either way. Nexon and Perfect World are like the EA and Activision of the east it seems.
