Warcraft Movie: Listen to Title Track From Games of Thrones Composer

Warcraft opens in theaters on June 10.

We have seen quite a lot of Warcraft in trailers and clips, but now Legendary Entertainment has released one of the movie's music tracks. Composed by Ramin Djawadi, who also wrote the music for Iron Man and HBO's Game of Thrones, the song is called "Warcraft," and it's presumably the film's title track.

It's a pretty powerful piece, building up to an intense ending. It definitely has a "marching to battle" kind of vibe going on, which matches up with the theme of the movie. Listen for yourself in the video below.

The Warcraft official soundtrack will be available to buy on June 3 through digital stores, while a physical version arrives alongside the film on June 10.

Djawadi's score for Iron Man earned him a Grammy Award nomination. The Berklee School of Music graduate also contributed to the soundtracks for Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Batman Begins, before getting the gig to write the music for HBO's Game of Thrones.

Warcraft stars Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Paula Patton (Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol), Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), and Robert Kazinsky (Pacific Rim). It's directed by Duncan Jones, who previously helmed Moon and Source Code.

Recently, Fimmel talked about how he had never heard of Warcraft before signing on to play one of the lead characters, Lothar. "I needed a job," he said about taking the role. On the other end of the spectrum, Ogrim actor Kazinsky is a diehard World of Warcraft player who credits the game with saving his life.

Legendary has released trailers that showcase the movie's characters. You can watch them through the links below:
