The upcoming Tomb Raider movie reboot has cast another character.

Variety reports today that Warner Bros. has hired Daniel Wu to play the character Lu Ren, a ship captain who teams up with Lara Croft to help find her father. Wu played Gul'dan in last summer's Warcraft and he is also known for his role as Sunny in the AMC show Into the Badlands.

Wu is just the latest actor to join the untitled Tomb Raider reboot. Before this, The Hateful Eight and Sons of Anarchy actor Walton Goggins was brought on to play the main villain.

Alicia Vikander plays Lara Croft in the movie, which is directed by Roar Uthaug (The Wave). The film comes to theaters on March 16, 2018.

Last month, Goggins talked about his villainous character and stressed that he's not a one-dimensional bad guy.

"Is he a villain? Sure, that is an easy description," Goggins said. "An antagonist, for sure. But [like other characters] I have been so lucky to have the opportunity to play over the course of my career, there are real reasons behind his antagonism, and it's not what you'd expect. He is very complicated, and his motivations are pure."

No new Tomb Raider games have been announced. However, a sequel to Rise of the Tomb Raider is expected, given the story that began with the 2013 reboot has been described as a trilogy. According to a leak, the name of the third game is Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
