War For The Planet Of The Apes Teaser Provides A Glimpse At The Epic Showdown

A new trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes is coming tomorrow, but you don't have to wait until then to see new footage from the upcoming action movie.

A short teaser for tomorrow's trailer has arrived, providing a glimpse of what to expect. As you'll see, the stakes have risen, with both sides preparing for an epic showdown between the apes, led by Caesar (Andy Serkis), and the humans, who are led by The Colonel (Woody Harrelson). This is the third of the new Apes movies, following Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014). War for the Planet of the Apes is directed by Matt Reeves, who also directed Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The movie opens in July.

Reeves has been in the news lately, as he was recently announced as the director for Warner Bros. upcoming Batman movie, The Batman.
