Walmart Christmas Sale: Last-Minute Gifts And Game Deals

It's not always easy to get all of your Christmas shopping done early. Even with Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales galore, it's easy to come to the conclusion in mid-December that you're still missing a few things. Retailers know this and offer tempting deals in the weeks and days leading up to Christmas. Walmart and Best Buy are each having Christmas-countdown sales, with the former boasting some nice deals on video game consoles and tech hardware.

Walmart is offering special bundles and deals for Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro. Walmart also had a special Nintendo Switch holiday bundle that included the updated Switch console (with Mario Red Joy-Cons) packaged with $20 Eshop credit and a Mario-themed carrying case. It's currently sold out, but you can sign up for in-stock alerts.

These Xbox One X and S bundles come with a bonus copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and a wired controller for $249. You also have the option to swap the PowerA controller for a bona fide wireless controller from Microsoft for about $25 (depending on the controller), and for this price, you can probably afford the upgrade.
