The debut chapter of The Walking Dead will drop next month on Xbox Live for 400 MS points ($5) and the PlayStation Network for $5. The first of five episodes will also hit the PC and Mac in April via the Telltale online store and other outlets via a $25 season pass purchase.

Telltale did not say if episodes of The Walking Dead will be available for individual purchase on the PC and Mac, and as of press time, the developer had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment.

Telltale also today announced that those who preorder the PC and Mac version of The Walking Dead via the Telltale online store will save 10 percent on a season pass. Additionally, those who reserve a copy of the game will be entered into a sweepstakes to appear in the fourth episode of the game as a human, then a zombie.

Telltale's Walking Dead is a single-player episodic game based on Robert Kirkman's comic book series. It stars Lee Everett, a man convicted of a crime but given a chance to redeem himself, albeit in a world infested with undead.
