Bossa Studios' wacky doctor game Surgeon Simulator has now sold more than two million copies to date, the developer announced today. The game was released in 2013, and is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android.
"Thanks to everyone who has played Surgeon Simulator and made it such a global success," Bossa's Henrique Olifiers said. "It has been really amazing to see this title go from a game jam project to a full release across multiple formats and is testament to the originality and creativity we nurture here at Bossa Studios.”
If you haven't played Surgeon Simulator, you can pick it up today at a discount. The PC version is going for $2.50 now on Steam while the iOS version can be had for $2.
GameSpot scored Surgeon Simulator an 8/10. Reviewer Shaun McInnis said: "Surgeon Simulator 2013 is hardly a simulation, but it makes medical malpractice an absolute delight."
Going forward, Bossa has multiple projects in the works, including I Am Bread and Worlds Adrift.
