VideoLogic Expands
PowerVR gets another warrior in the ever growing 3D accelerator war.
VideoLogic is expanding the retail distribution channels for its line of Apocalypse 3D accelerators and its GraphixStar graphics accelerators. The company announced the signing of a distribution agreement with Fry's Electronics, a Silicon Valley computer retailer.
The company also announced that its Apocalypse 5D PowerVR-based 2D/3D graphics accelerator card was named one of the "Top 100 Products of 1997" by Computer Shopper magazine.
