Valkyria Chronicles PS4 Remaster Confirmed for North America, Europe

Limited edition Squad 7 Armored Case available for pre-order.


Sega has announced the remastered version of Valkyria Chronicles for PlayStation 4 will be available in Europe and North America from spring 2016.

The game will be released digitally and physically in both regions, but there will be limited run of Squad 7 Armored Editions available to pre-order in North America. This version features a unique case adorned with members of the Squad 7 militia players control in the game.

The game carries a pricetag of $29.99/CA$44.99. A price for the UK and other European territories has not be specified as of yet.

The remastered version of Valkyria Chronicles runs in 1080p at 60 frames per second. It supports English and Japanese audio, includes all the original DLC, and introduces Trophy support.

The Japanese release of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered included a demo of Valkyria: Azure Revolution, a sequel to the first game. Sega has not said whether this will also be the case for the western releases.

Azure Revolution s being developed by Media Vision, which also worked on Valkyria Chronicles 3 for PSP.
