UT2004 dedicated server released
Epic preps online gamers for Unreal Tournament 2004 release.
In advance of the looming release of Unreal Tournament 2004, Epic Games today released the dedicated server version of UT2004. Available at GameSpot's own DLX download service, the server does not require the retail version to run and installs to a 2GB footprint (less than half the size of the retail install). Epic is also starting to create specific server keys that allow server admins to advertise their servers in the UT2004 in-game server browser. More information can be found on the Unreal Tournament Web site.
