Ubisoft has today announced the North American release of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst. The puzzle-based adventure game, developed by Cyan Productions, is the first in the Myst series to feature multiplayer support in addition to its single-player experience.

"Uru: Ages Beyond Myst will keep game players captivated by the mixture of a rich storyline, challenging puzzles, and incredibly beautiful graphics," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing at Ubisoft. "Players will love the single-player adventure, and we believe they will want to try Uru Live to continue their experience once it becomes fully available."

Uru Live is currently in the final stages of beta testing, and anyone purchasing a copy of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst has the option to create an Uru Live account for themselves and, perhaps, to join the next group of adventurers allowed in D'ni City.
