Upcoming Target Sale Features Great Deal On PS5, Xbox Series X Games

Target is hosting a new mix-and-match B2G1 free sale starting this Sunday, November 8. Like usual, the promotion will include video games, movies, board games, books, and music. The B2G1 free sale is particularly exciting, though, as you'll be able to snag some next-gen games for PS5 and Xbox Series X, including Godfall for PS5, Yakuza: Like a Dragon for Xbox Series X, and numerous other multi-platform new releases.

Target's ad only shows a small sample of the games that will be featured in the promotion, but several of them are some of the biggest games releasing in November. In addition to the aforementioned Godfall and Yakuza: Like a Dragon--both of which release next week--Assassin's Creed Valhalla for Xbox consoles and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for PS5 will be up for grabs. NBA 2K21 for PS5 is also shown in the ad, as is the recently released Watch Dogs: Legion for Xbox.

While we would expect every multi-platform game to be available on both Xbox and PlayStation platforms, we'll have to wait until the sale is live to know for sure. Of course, not every PS5 and Xbox Series X game available at Target will be included in the sale, but the ad shows off a pretty solid lineup.

A pair of notable Nintendo Switch games that release next week will also be part of the B2G1 free sale: Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory and Just Dance 2021.

Target's Black Friday sale kicked off earlier this week. Although the upcoming B2G1 free promotion isn't technically a Black Friday promotion, it may very well be the best avenue for picking up some of this holiday's biggest games at a discount.
