Dragon Ball has found an immense following in the west. The last film in the franchise, 2015's Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F', grossed $8 million total in the U.S. and Canada, becoming the first independent movie to be included in the domestic top 10 highest grossing anime films list.

Dragon Ball Super aired for three years, between July 5, 2015 and March 25, 2018. If you want to catch up on the anime before Dragon Ball Super: Broly's western premier in January, you can watch the series in its original Japanese on Crunchyroll and in English on Funimation.
