The first episode premiered on November 5, and new installments will be released each Friday. The episodes are about 45 minutes each, and there are four in total as part of the limited series. Listeners can expect "untold stories" from Halo 2's development, based on 10 months of research, recording, and production.

November 12's Episode 2 is called The Social Revolution, and it focuses on the "dramatic stories" behind Halo 2's multiplayer features. Episode 3 - Map Design focuses on how the developers created some of the franchise's most iconic and memorable maps. Episode 4 - The Chopping Block sounds like the most exciting one, as it will see Hoberman talking about content that was cut from the game, including features and modes.

You can listen to Halo 2: Artifacts everywhere podcasts are available, including Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts. Halo 2 just celebrated its 17th anniversary on November 9, while the Halo franchise and Xbox in general are turning 20 this month.

The podcast arrives just ahead of Halo Infinite's long-awaited release in December. Recently, 343 shared a huge amount of information on how Halo Infinite is changing due to feedback from the beta.
