Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade for PSP confirmed

Sony Online announces multiplayer action RPG for the upcoming handheld; confirms release "at the PSP's launch in March."


Sony Online Entertainment today announced Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade for the PSP today. The title is an action-oriented role-playing game and is one of the few titles being developed in North America for Sony's handheld.

In Untold Legends, gamers will gather heroes together to form the Brotherhood of the Blade in an attempt to save the city of Aven, the last stronghold of good in a land wrought with evil. After choosing between one of four classes -- Knights, Druids, Alchemists, and Berserkers -- heroes will adventure out into the land of Unataca, using swords and sorcery to stave off powerful enemies and unravel the mystery of the evil that rules the land.

Players will also be able to hack and slash other players using the PSP's wireless feature for cooperative gameplay.

The game's planned release date of March does more than let gamers know when they can pick up Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade, it also points a finger at the American launch date of the PSP, which has been speculated to be in March, but not confirmed.
