The Unfinished Swan now has a release date. The PlayStation 3-exclusive from independent studio Giant Sparrow will release through the PlayStation Network on October 23, the company announced today through the PlayStation Blog.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can get the first-person painting game a week early on October 16. No price for the game was announced.
The Unfinished Swan follows an orphan boy, Monroe, whose mother left him a painting of an unfinished swan. The swan emerges from the painting one evening, and Monroe follows it in an attempt to catch it. And on his journey, Monroe ultimately learns a lesson about himself.
Players enter a blank white world, and must throw splashes of black paint to reveal their surroundings. For more on The Unfinished Swan, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
