Ultima Online Beta Test Begins

Finally, gamers will get a chance to enter the world of Ultima Online - Origin Systems announced that the long-awaited beta test is ready to begin.

The CD for the game, sent out to those who registered in advance, will be released at several regular intervals. The first few thousand have already been sent, and the others will come to players in the order in which they applied. Origin said that the test will continue long enough for everyone to have ample playing time. The Ultima web site has additional information on the dates of the tests and the next shipments of CDs.

Web support for the first phase begins next Monday, but testers are welcome to start as soon as they receive their discs.
