No Caption Provided Despite--or perhaps helped by--calls for it to be banned from British Defence Secretary Liam Fox, and a critical reception that was not quite as favourable as EA had hoped, sales for Medal of Honor seem to be doing well. The present-day military shooter has take the top spot in the UK chart in its first week on sale, with the Xbox 360 versions leading the way with over 50 percent of copies sold. FIFA falls from its perch at the top of the chart to complete an EA one-two, keeping its nose in front of Just Dance 2, the Wii-exclusive dance game from Ubisoft.

Nintendo's Wii Party climbed from 10 to four, while last week's number two--Pro Evolution Soccer 2011--fell three places to five, with the PS3 version outselling the Xbox 360 variant almost two-to-one. Codemasters' F1 2010 slipped a further two places to six, while Dead Rising 2's three-week residence of the number three spot was interrupted as it fell four places to seven. Halo: Reach slipped down to eight in its fifth week on the chart.

Namco Bandai secured the week's final new entry into the top 10 with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, which snuck in at number nine. Completing the chart was Konami's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which slipped to 10 after debuting at six last week.

Further down the chart, Borderlands reentered at 35 with its Game of the Year Edition, which comes bundled with all of the shooter-cum-RPG's downloadable content and early access to the beta of the highly anticipated and exceptionally long-awaited Duke Nukem Forever, with the Xbox 360 version outselling the PS3 alternative by more than two-to-one.
