Ubisoft has today announced that it has signed an exclusive European publishing and distribution contract for Playboy: The Mansion. Currently in development at Cyberlore Studios, the empire-building game will see players assuming the role of Hugh Hefner and living in their very own Playboy mansion.

"This is a magical icon franchise that tends to put a smile on the faces of most of our video game target audience," said Alain Corre, Ubisoft's managing director for Europe, Asia Pacific and South America. "It's a great opportunity for us to publish such a charismatic legend to computer and video games in Europe, with a type of gameplay that should please our consumers. This deal with Arush Entertainment not only gives us the ability to satisfy the enthusiasm of all Playboy fans but also business lovers!"

"Ubisoft is one of the most respected companies in the video game industry," said Jim Perkins, president and CEO of Arush Entertainment. "They are the perfect European partner for the distribution of Playboy: The Mansion, which is already shaping up to be an incredibly fun and engaging game."
