Twitch is working to remove non-gaming PlayStation 4 PlayRoom videos from the streaming service.

The streaming provider has already had to remove multiple streams on account of lewd behavior, as well as taking down streams after the chat was filled with inappropriate comments.

One PlayRoom stream over the weekend, reported by Game Revolution, featured a man undressing his partner on air after an extensive drinking session. The user, Darckobra, was quickly banned.

Twitch has now begun clamping down on streams that do not feature gaming content, as per its terms of service. "FYI: We continue to moderate according to our Terms of Service. Non-gaming content is not allowed," said the company on Twitter.

"Non-gaming content (c): If using PS4 Playroom, the content must be about games or gaming and within our ToS. Thanks for understanding," continued Twitch.

On the subject of using PlayRoom streams to discuss gaming, Twitch added that such things were acceptable within its terms of service. "Discussing gaming is gaming content. There are numerous such channels on Twitch, such as One More Game."

Last week a couple became a Twitch sensation after starting a call-in show from PlayRoom, with Sony's Adam Boyes even phoning the stream to congratulate the duo.
