The first cover shows director and co-creator David Lynch (who also plays Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole) with Kyle McLachlan (Agent Dale Cooper), Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne), and Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer/Maddy Ferguson).

The second features James Marshall (James Hurley), Everett McGill (Big Ed Hurley), and Wendy Robie (Nadine Hurley), while the third reveals Madchen Amick (Shelly Johnson), Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), and Peggy Lipton (Norma Jennings).

EW has also published a batch of behind-the-scenes images--check them out here.

The two-hour premiere debuts on Showtime on May 21 at 9 PM ET, and the following two episodes will be available online immediately afterwards. Lynch has described the show as "a feature film in 18 parts."

Several teasers for the new season have been released over the past few months. The most recent compiled the many moments the characters have enjoyed coffee, while another showed co-creator David Lynch, in character as Cole, snacking on a donut. We've also had composer Angelo Badalamenti performing some of the show's haunting music, plus a look at some on-set footage.

Twin Peaks originally ran from 1990-91 on ABC, followed by a prequel film, Fire Walk With Me, in 1992.

Disclosure: Showtime is a division of CBS, which is GameSpot's parent company.
